About Us

REICO investiční společnost Erste Asset Management, a.s. (REICO IS EAM) was founded in 2006 in Prague as a 100% subsidiary of Česká spořitelna, a.s. Since 2024, it has been part of the Erste Asset Management group, which is part of the Austrian financial group Erste Group AG, headquartered in Vienna.

Company´s Board of Directors

Graduate of the University of Economics in Prague (VŠE), he has linked his entire career to Erste Group, where he took up a position in its Prague office in 1998. Two years later, he joined Česká spořitelna, which at that time became part of the Erste Group. There he worked in various financial management positions such as back office financial markets, accounting and controlling. Since 2015, he headed the business planning and performance management unit of the retail banking division, where he was responsible for pricing, branch network motivation, planning and reporting. In the same period he was also a member of the supervisory boards of several subsidiaries of Česká spořitelna - Stavební spořitelna ČS, Penzijní společnost ČS and also REICO IS EAM. In July 2023, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of REICO IS EAM.

Martin Machač

 Member of the Board of Directors

Graduate of the University of Economics in Prague with more than 20 years of experience in risk management in financial institutions. He began his banking career in 1999 at the Prague branch of Erste Bank CR, where he initially worked in the field of financial market trading. Shortly thereafter, he moved to risk management, where he continued even after the acquisition of Česká spořitelna. At Česká spořitelna, he was responsible for managing market and liquidity risks, as well as managing the interest rate risk of the bank and its subsidiaries. During his career, he also served on the supervisory boards of Česká spořitelna's subsidiaries, specifically ČS Pension Company and REICO IS EAM.

Jiří Horák

Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors

An expert in commercial real estate, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe, with many years of experience in the field. He gained his previous experience in various roles at the consulting firm JLL, where he dedicated nearly 9 years to commercial real estate and investment consulting. Since 2022, he has served as the Director of Transactions at REICO IS EAM, where he managed strategic investments and transactions across the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia. In early April 2024, he was appointed to the board and will be responsible for the real estate part of both of our funds. He holds a master's degree in economics with a focus on finance and has international study experience from France, which has contributed to his broad expertise and perspective.
